We wanted our last night in Negril to be relaxed, and to try something we never have before. We headed to 3 Dives on the cliffs – very well known for their Jerk Chicken.

It’s a really casual place, with outdoor seating (and a great smell the moment you walk up). You pay at the front, and then the staff come and find you by name when your order is ready. It could be a LOT more efficient if they gave you a number or something (as it takes a while to find the right table when it’s busy)!

It was really hard to choose, based on the incredible menu! I loved my grilled lobster at Presley’s earlier in the week, so I wanted to try it again. David chose the brown stew (because he has been craving it the entire time we have been in Jamaica). My lobster was really great (but not as sweet or basically as good as what I had at Presley’s – the best ever). David also enjoyed his brown stew, but it didn’t live up to his memory of a great brown stew at the Wild Parrot on the beach a couple of years ago (The Wild Parrot is sadly no more).

Overall, we had a really good experience at 3 Dives (until we took a taxi home and he tried to persuade us we needed to bay $20 instead of the usual $5). I think we should have tried what 3 Dives is known for – Jerk Chicken! Maybe next time.
