I have stayed at the Aria hotel in Las Vegas before, and totally loved it this time around again!
David and I really like the modern aesthetic of this hotel (rather than some of the theme or ostentatious hotels on the strip). It’s inviting and has a cool vibe – right from the moment you get a glimpse of it all lit up from the strip, to the coloured water fountain (with an arc that mimics the font of the “A” in Aria), to the beautiful lobby.
I was especially impressed by the mobile check in option. We got an email the day before our arrival offering to check in by email. It was so easy and efficient. We received an email with our room number about 6 hours before our scheduled arrival, and we were checked in by a super friendly front desk staff member in about 10 minutes.
The amenities here are great. I have been to the spa and pool on a previous trip, but didn’t get to it this time around. I especially loved the spa experience. For $40, you can access the spa pools, steam rooms, detoxifying and relaxing salt room and japanese stone beds. In my opinion, this is a real steal that you can relax in as long as you like.
There are lots of great restaurants and bars/lounges here (we enjoyed the lobby bar, Aria Cafe and Five50 pizza on this trip) and you are right beside Crystals mall (with high-end shopping that is too rich for my wallet, but fun to see). We got great service at the Business Centre, where we checked into our flight home (with a lovely reception desk that offered us water while we printed our boarding passes).
But best of all, the room is fantastic! I really love the technology of the room (all controls in a tablet by the bed – including tv, drapes, lights, in-room dining, guest services, etc). There is tons of drawer and closet space (often sadly lacking in many hotel rooms) along with bathrobes. The blackout drapes help you sleep off a (too) fun Vegas night, and the bed is incredibly comfortable (slightly on the soft side, medium soft pillows).
The real highlight for me is the spacious bathroom. Two sinks, a separate toilet area, and a huge bathtub and rain shower. Heaven.
I highly recommend the Aria hotel for a quick Vegas vacation. It has a great location on the Strip near quite a few great hotels and shopping, and it is part of the M Life group of hotels. If you have an M Life card, you can charge meals to your room from any one of the restaurants or bars/lounges in any of the affiliate hotels and you get points for all that (potentially getting you great hotel rate deals or comps).
