Finally, a good wifi connection! At the airport to head to Bariloche after an overnight in Buenos Aires following a VERY long flight to get to Argentina! This trip is going to be go go go!

Where to start? After meeting our G Adventures guide at the airport, I settled in to have a good look around as we drove to our hotel. I noticed a few amazing things already, starting with amilies pulled over onto the grass on the side of the road, parked under a tree, playing soccer or lounging in the shade of the tree. A really interesting sight in any green space!

I also saw… Evita!

There is some wonderful architecture. Buenos Aires is the second largest city in South America with 13 million people, and there isn’t any one kind of building or skyline. Lots of influences here.

Had some argentinian wine to kick off the trip last night at dinner (more on that in the next post), and heard a party well into the night to celebrate museum day (a day once a year where all the museums are free in Buenos Aires). But I was so tired from the trip I actually slept through it!

I can’t wait to come back at the end of this trip to see more!
