I woke up very early this morning on my last morning at Hotel Las Torres, and listened to the birds sing while I watched the sun slowly rise and light up the mountain just outside my window. Quiet moments like these are why I always pay extra for my own room. This truly is heaven.
Hotel Las Torres is situated on private land within the Torres Del Paine National Park, so there isn’t much around it. Which is fine, because it is a fantastic hotel. It has a real ranch feel, coming from the decor, the look of the five long guest buidings, the horses in the pen and the Banditos walking around!
The rooms are a nice size, with large bathrooms and a great shower. Very happy with the room.
It’s also fun to just spend sometime outside to watch the hares, birds and horses galloping freely around the land… and, oh, look, a red fox! Now what is he doing??
Hotel Las Torres also has an amazing restaurant. We had a fantstic meal here, served by charming staff… lamb tongue anyone??
All of my travel mates are a little sad to leave here, and wish we had one more day to enjoy this beautiful place (and especially time to try out the spa). Wanting just one more day is definitely the sign of a great hotel and a great experience!
