I’m off to Toronto tomorrow for a week of great times, and lots of blog posts!
Toronto is a special place for me. Before my family moved to Saskatchewan, I was born in Scarborough and all of my extended family lives in Ontario. My brother now also lives in Mississauga with his wife and daughter. So much to see and so many people to connect with!
As soon as I land and check in to the Cosmopolitan Hotel downtown, I am heading out to meet my cousin for a drink before the Jays game. He’s going to the game, I’m going to Momofuku Shoto to check out their tasting menu!
Wednesday is shopping, checking in with my brother (who works downtown) and then dinner at Montecito with a new friend I met while travelling to Argentina and Chile about a year ago. Later that night I will be meeting up with my friends who are joining me in Toronto for the Adele concert on Friday night.
Adele!!! I snagged some amazing 4th row seats for the Friday night concert, and I am beyond excited for the show at Air Canada Centre (totally fangirling here).
Once the weekend hits, it’s all about family. Saturday will be a fun-filled day with my Aunties in Kitchener, and then Sunday/Monday will be celebrating my niece’s birthday and hanging out with my brother and sister-in-law in Mississauga.
Then, it’s back home to Regina and David next Tuesday. What a great whirlwind it is going to be!
